Our one-month road trip was a lot of fun! We fell in love with new places, tried new food and took tons of photos. Here are some quick fun facts:

  • We visited Detroit, Toronto, Niagara Falls, Montréal, New York City, Washington D.C., Baltimore and Richmond. In addition, along our way, we stopped at these places to eat, or spent a night to rest-Indianapolis, Albany, Charleston and Louisville.
  • Drove approximately 3,500.
  • Visited over 20 museums, at least 50% of them were in Washington D.C.
  • Got stuck in traffic on our way from Detroit to Toronto, a five hour drive turned out to be a seven hour drive.
  • Did walking tours in Toronto, Montréal and New York City.
  • It was very hot in Washington D.C.
  • Some delicious foods we had: Iranian breakfast, pickled pineapple and mango, brie and apple croissant sandwich, potato knish, chirimoya gelato, donuts, pizza…all very yummy!
