Nestled in the Romanian Bucegi mountains lies a 19th century gem of Neo-Renaissance architecture—Peleș Castle. There is something magical about visiting castles during autumn: red, yellow and brown leaves blanket the pathways and gardens while a chilly breeze stuns you in amazement.

Marvelous on the outside and exquisitely decorated inside, Castelul Peleș is well worth a visit. This was one of our favorite castles in Romania.
